Each Circle Mage had its beginnings, for Hokan Ashir, those were his early days in the far west of Xu, the city of his birth - Kaith Halur. Not much is known of the city itself, though it certainly must have been one of the largest Human settlements on Xu following Empyria, and as such, it played an important role in the early dealings of the Humans there.
Though that is not to say that Kaith Halur was a place with naught but trade and politics - nearing the end of the Convocation Wars, it had been besieged by the Red Horde of Hokan's greatest nemesis, Uram the Red. Uram had already managed to set the city ablaze, practically being able to taste his victory, until Hokan unveiled his greatest creation to this world - The Blades - turning the tide of the battle and securing the safety of his capital.
