The Onyx Shores were the first stop of many deciding to try their luck on Xu. Though not the most hospitable, they offered a quick path to Empyria, and were thus valued by merchants and adventurers alike. However, this grabbed the attention of those, who preferred to make a living through less honest means, turning traversing through these shores into a double-edged sword.

The scarcity of resources has turned life in the Onyx Shores rather competitive, with each inhabitant searching for the edge that would let them claim them as their own.
